CARE collaborates harmoniously with local animal hospitals to ensure our animals receive wellness care, medical treatments, and surgery. These animals, either strays or surrendered by owners unable to care for them, would typically face euthanasia due to the high costs of necessary medical treatment. Before adoption, all CARE animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, checked for intestinal parasites, and kept up to date on all vaccines. Cats are tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV, while dogs are ensured to be heartworm negative at the time of adoption.
